News: 42nd JCOA Annual Meeting

JCOA 42^nd Annual Meeting

JCOA members, staff, board of directors and government representatives will convene to present the JCOA 2011 Annual Meeting.

Attendees will hear from Key Note Speaker, Martha Manuel. As Executive Director of the Governor’s Office of Elderly Affairs (GOEA), Ms. Manuel will talk about the services that the GOEA offers and share her plans to enhance the quality of life for Louisiana seniors.

The meeting will include reports on the activities and programs of the Jefferson Council on Aging. JCOA members will vote on the newly nominated board members. All guests will receive a copy of the JCOA 42nd Annual Report which highlights the activities and programs of JCOA.

After all official business, a catered lunch will served to all guests.

This year's Annual meeting will be hosted by the Gretna Community Committee on Aging and the City of Gretna. Proceedings will take place at the St. Joseph’s Church Gymnasium in Gretna, La from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
